Fast path

Do this in order

Start here if you only need the order. Detailed notes are lower on this page.

  1. Step 1

    Open the airport's official page

Check the services section, terminal map, information desk, and transport page. Do not plan from an old screenshot or a stranger's comment.

Tip: If the site will not load, use the airport information desk.

  2. Step 2

    Solve connection before leaving

While airport Wi-Fi is available, save your address, route, hotel or host phone number, and backup contact path.

Tip: Do not enter extra passport or bank details into random Wi-Fi pages.

  3. Step 3

    Check money and payment

A foreign-issued Visa or Mastercard should not be your primary Russia payment plan. If you need rubles, use an official bank, exchange, or ATM point and check the rate, fee, and receipt first.

Tip: If the rate is poor, change only what you need for the first hours.

  4. Step 4

    Handle luggage before transport

If you need storage, check the official left-luggage point, size and weight rules, ID requirement, payment, and pickup time before handing items over.

Tip: Keep your passport, migration papers, cash, bank cards, medicine, and keys with you.

  5. Step 5

    Use official help

For terminal questions, go to the airport desk. For lost checked baggage, follow the airport or airline process. For immediate danger, call 112.

Tip: Do not accept unofficial drivers, helpers, or payments when the terms are unclear.
