Yandex Go desk or app
Best for
Late arrival, heavy luggage, or a door-to-door route.
Pulkovo names Yandex Go as its taxi partner and says the airport does not recommend illegal private taxi offers. Keep cash ready if app payment is not set up.
Main rail stations
Best for
Arriving by train from Moscow or another Russian city.
Save the station name, nearest metro, and exit. Moskovsky station is central, but other stations require a different first route.

Use Podorozhnik for repeated rides
The official metro page explains Podorozhnik top-up and activation. It is useful when you combine metro, bus, tram, or trolleybus.
Plan around bridges and water
Many central routes cross rivers and canals. At night, traffic patterns and bridge openings can matter, so check your route before leaving a restaurant or station.
Walk shorter, cleaner routes
The city is beautiful but large. In wet weather, a slightly longer metro route may be easier than a long walk with luggage.
